I became a midwife to heal, educate, and do everything I can to help my patients achieve a better quality of life. As a midwife, I am a caregiver, scientist, teacher, healer, advocate, and leader.

Every person deserves wellness in every aspect of their lives. As a midwife, I work to help women and their families achieve this goal.

Midwives can take care of women from teen years through menopause and beyond. In cultures all over the globe, the birthing process is the foundation for a healthy mother and child. It also builds strong families and communities.

But, pregnancy is only one aspect of a person's life when they walk through our door. I take the time to appreciate this fact and to listen to my patient's concerns. When my patients feel supported in all aspects of their lives, they can have the healthiest pregnancy possible.

During labor and delivery, I am active in helping a woman birth her baby in the best way that suits her and her family.

A successful outcome for me is a healthy mother and baby and an empowering birth experience. The best results are when a new mother is proud of herself and happy with her birth experience.
