Spending time with patients is the highlight of my day. It’s the reason I decided to become a physician assistant. It’s important to me that they feel heard and understood. That’s why I’m careful to explain procedures and the nature of a patient’s health issues and listen closely. Mutual understanding is key to empowering patients to improve their well-being. I do all I can to help my patients modify their behaviors and pursue treatment so they can lead healthier lives.
