About me
Anesthesiologists have the unique privilege to care for patients and keep them safe and comfortable during and after surgery. I enjoy talking with patients to help them understand their upcoming anesthetic, hear their concerns, and answer their questions.
My research and public health work focuses on improving cognitive and physical recovery in older adults. I find it very rewarding to provide data which supports better perioperative healthcare for older adults. I am proud to be an Examiner and Director for the American Board of Anesthesiology and support the mission “to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology”.
