About me
I began my career volunteering at my local hospital when I was sixteen. Later, I worked with pharmacists, physical therapists, and podiatrists. I am drawn to podiatry and wound care because of my family history of diabetes and the effects it can have on the body.
As a podiatrist, I work with my patients to prevent complications from wounds such as infections or ulcers. Having foot or ankle pain or an open wound can be frustrating. It can cause people to avoid their normal activities and exercise. I focus on educating my patients to help them prevent complications and lead a healthy lifestyle after they have left our clinic.
My patients often tell me how comfortable they feel sharing their difficulties and challenges with me. I listen to their questions and concerns to find appropriate solutions and treatments for them. My goal is to provide the highest level of care to help my patients return to a pain-free, active lifestyle.
