About me

I have two primary areas of clinical practice which I believe are complementary to one another: Physiatry and Palliative Medicine.

As a physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialist), my outpatient practice focuses on caring for people who are living with common neurological conditions such as stroke and brain injury. I treat pain, spasticity and other musculoskeletal problems that often come along with these conditions. I aim to listen closely and collaborate with my patients and their caregivers in order to set achievable goals, optimize function and improve quality of life whenever possible.

In the hospital, my main role is as a Palliative Medicine provider. Our palliative care interdisciplinary team supports people who are dealing with the stress that often accompanies sudden and unexpected illness, injury or the progression of a chronic condition.
