About me
It’s important to me that new patients feel welcomed and respected. I’m here for them, to help them make informed decisions about their health and feel their best. I want to hear their concerns, and to attend to the whole person. I truly enjoy getting to know my patients and helping them meet their health goals.
I’ve always been a caregiver. I discovered I wanted to be a nurse when caring for adults with acquired brain injuries at the age of 19. More recently, I worked at Cheshire Medical Center as a nurse in family medicine before becoming a primary care provider.
One of the things I love about family medicine is the diversity of care. One morning I’m doing a 2-day newborn weight check and that afternoon I’m having a conversation about hospice with my patient and family members. It's rewarding getting to know families in this way and support the community I grew up in.
