About me

As a former college athlete and coach, I love the field of orthopaedics. I became an APRN because I believe the field of nursing is "life coaching." Working in orthopaedics lets me blend my passion for helping others with my coaching background to partner with patients, coach them through their injury or surgery, and help them get back to their daily lives. It also gives me the opportunity to work with a fantastic team of colleagues.

I love meeting new patients, helping them navigate their inpatient stay, and coordinating their discharge. Everybody has a story and it's great to meet so many people from our surrounding community.

When I see people I’ve cared for out in the community enjoying their lives, I feel good knowing that I played a part in their recovery. Having an opportunity to give back to my community and neighbors is a win for me.
