About me
In the clinical microbiology laboratory, we strive to rapidly detect and identify pathogens and determine which antimicrobial regimens will work best for patients. These results make targeted antimicrobial therapies possible and improve the outcomes for our patients.
I love working as a clinical pathologist because we get to view diagnostics from a big-picture perspective while also focusing on individual patient results. What we do is behind the scenes but is integral to patient care.
