About me
Understanding human health and disease has always interested me, and I love all things related to laboratory testing. I combine these two interests in a career that is far more rewarding for me than anything else I can imagine. In my work, I help to find ways to improve the quality and accuracy of the test results that we provide to our patients. I develop tools that can detect instrument errors sooner than traditional methods.
As pathologists, we consult with providers to help choose which tests are appropriate. We are experts on the strengths and limitations of laboratory tests. Interpreting test results for our clinical providers helps them make the right choices for their patients’ care. While we do not work with patients, pathologists and laboratory professionals are an important part of the clinical team.
