About me
The most rewarding part of my work is helping families navigate tough moments. Being trusted to care for a child when a family is worried is a tremendous privilege.
I believe great pediatric care starts with listening. Parents know their children better than anyone, and my job is to combine what you know about your child with my medical training to help you make the best decisions for your family. I want every parent to feel heard, supported, and confident in caring for their child.
I've always loved being around kids, and at one point, I considered becoming a teacher. (Fun fact- both of my parents were teachers!) As a pediatrician, one of the most enjoyable parts of my job is talking to children and parents about health, answering questions, and helping families understand how to keep their kids healthy and happy. Often, the most meaningful thing I can do is help a parent feel a little less worried and a lot more confident.
New London has been home for nearly 10 years, and I have three children involved in local schools and sports. Caring for local kids and getting to know their families feels like a natural fit. I feel fortunate to care for children in this wonderful community!
