Being a physician has been the most rewarding experience of my life and something I do not take for granted. Pulmonary and critical care medicine keep me learning every day. Each person’s story is different, and many lung problems do not have simple answers. It is critical that I listen closely, ask the right questions, and work to understand what is causing the illness.

My goal is to make each visit feel clear, respectful, and honest. I want patients and families to feel heard and to leave with a better understanding of the next steps. I know that treatment can be complex and may come with side effects. Because of that, I take time to explain choices simply and build a care plan that fits each person’s needs and goals.

I feel honored to care for people during difficult times. Words matter, especially when illness feels uncertain or frightening. When a patient tells me that my words are healing, I take that as a compliment. My role is not only to provide test results or treatment plans. It is also about trust, comfort, and helping people feel supported along the way.
