About me
I became interested in medicine when I was young, and that interest grew while working as a National Park Ranger-EMT. Caring for people who were very sick made me want to learn more and be able to help in deeper ways. Emergency medicine felt like the right fit because it allows me to care for people of all ages and many different needs.
My goal is to help each person feel heard, cared for, and better informed. I take time to listen, explain what is happening, and answer questions in a clear way. A good outcome means symptoms are addressed, the person is feeling better, and the next steps are understood.
I welcome family members as part of care when it is helpful because they can offer important information and support. The most rewarding part of my work is being able to help people during some of their hardest moments. I aim to bring skill, calm, and compassion to every visit.
