About me

I was drawn to genetic counseling because it brings together science, medicine, research, and real connection with patients. Genetics can help explain a diagnosis, guide care, and offer answers after a long search. I am also inspired by research, because each study can lead to better care for patients now and in the future.

My goal is to make genetic information clear, useful, and less overwhelming. A good visit does not always end with a clear answer. Sometimes it means understanding what is known, what is still uncertain, and what choices may come next. I want each person and family to feel informed, supported, and confident in making decisions.

The most rewarding part of my work is helping people find answers while also helping science move forward. Every family has a story, and it is a privilege to be trusted during important moments. I believe genetics is about more than genes. It is about people, families, and the stories that connect them. I aim to create a caring space where questions are welcome, information is easy to understand, and decisions can be made with support.
