About me
My approach to care centers on treating everyone with respect, understanding, and compassion. I believe in meeting people where they are, without judgment. Each person’s recovery journey is unique, and I am here to help find what recovery means for them—whether that involves harm reduction, abstinence, or another path. In my work, I recognize that past ways of coping made sense at the time. Together, we can build new strategies that fit where someone wants to go now.
I chose this field because I have seen the stigma faced by people struggling with substance use and mental health. Many have not received the support they deserve. My goal is to help strengthen the system and empower those who need care. Success can look different for each person: sometimes it means connecting someone to treatment or life-saving medicine, and other times it simply means providing a safe space to share their story.
Care extends beyond the individual. I work to support the whole family, knowing that substance use affects everyone involved. Through this approach, I strive to make everyone feel safe and heard. My hope is that people feel respected and understood, and that together we can make progress, one step at a time.
