About me
I believe that care should center around patients and their families. When I meet someone for the first time, my goal is to create a safe and welcoming space, free from judgment. I use the best available research to guide my care, but I also depend on my experience as a clinician. Listening is important to me because every person has their own values and beliefs. I want each person and their loved ones to feel respected and understood.
Working in healthcare has been a dream since childhood. Choosing oncology means I get to help people in many ways, not just by treating illness. Cancer care is always changing, and I am excited by the new treatments and technology that can make a difference. I feel proud to be part of this progress.
Success to me means having a clear plan that everyone understands. I want the plan to follow best practices and respect what matters most to each person. Sometimes care extends beyond the patient to their support system. I treat patients and their families as a unit and make sure they feel heard and cared for. My hope is to offer support and kindness every step of the way.
