I believe healthcare should be a team effort. By working with patients to understand health goals, my aim is to provide clear guidance and support while respecting their voice.

After years of working as a registered nurse in emergency care, I transitioned to being a nurse practitioner. My decision was centered in a desire to help patients beyond the emergency visit. I found my passion in internal medicine, where I build long-term relationships while helping patients manage complex health needs.

Patients often tell me I listen well, do not rush, and am easy to talk to. I care for patients and their families, across generations. I encourage them to bring a trusted loved one to visits for support and understanding.

The most rewarding part of my work is getting to celebrate health victories with my patients. It could be finally getting their blood sugar to goal, losing that stubborn last five pounds, or being able to discontinue medications that are no longer needed due to improved health – their wins are my wins.

I grew up in this community. My childhood was spent in the local schools, lakes, and mountains. I chose to stay local, raise my family here, and take care of the community that has taken care of me. I know the resources of our community as well as the challenges associated with living in rural New Hampshire. This background informs my approach to care.
