About me

I entered this field because I enjoy studying the cardiovascular system and helping people get and stay well. I provide compassionate, attentive care to diagnose and treat a wide variety of cardiovascular diseases. I use cutting-edge non-invasive and minimally invasive methods.

Non-invasive diagnostic methods include:

  • CT (computerized tomography) angiography
  • Echocardiography
  • Nuclear imaging
  • Rhythm monitoring

Minimally invasive treatments I provide include:

  • Cardiac catheterizations
  • Evaluating and opening arteries in the heart and blood vessels from head to foot
  • Implanting heart rhythm devices
  • Plugging and closing holes and defects in the heart
  • Replacing and repairing heart valves

I enjoy getting to know my patients and colleagues. I like learning about their lives, pastimes, careers, and families. I enjoy talking with them about healthy food, music, and the arts. In my own free time, I write songs and musical theater.

Whether I’m performing diagnostics or minimally invasive procedures, my goal is to help my patients return to the activities they love.
