About me
I became a cancer surgeon because of the meaningful connections I make every day. Each patient matters to me, and I do my best to treat each one with the same care I would give my own family. My goal is not just about treating the illness, but also about advocating for my patients so they feel comfortable and respected.
My patients are of all ages, even very young children. I am always inspired by their resilience and maturity beyond their years. A child with cancer will often help the parents and adults cope. It is truly a privilege to be part of their care team.
Patients often thank me for the time I spend with them. They appreciate it when I visit them in the hospital after surgery. They also welcome direct communication. Treating my patients as I would my loved ones is the key to honest, compassionate, and excellent care.
