About me
Kids don't grow up in a vacuum; they grow up in families, households, neighborhoods, and communities. All of these impact the lives of children and their families. I love supporting families as they grow and thrive, and I take pride in connecting them to the care and services they need most.
I actively listen to families, giving them time to tell their stories. I'm mindful of their concerns and incorporate them into a plan centered on their background and goals.
Spending time talking with children and their families and really getting to know them is very rewarding. It also helps me learn how my team and I can best help them. Teaching medical students and residents is also very gratifying. It gives me the chance to connect the next generation of physicians to the practice of pediatrics and to share my knowledge and experience with them.
