About me
I served six years in the United States Army and spent a year in Iraq. Now, I am a radiologist in the Army Reserve. These experiences taught me a lot about strength and commitment, which helps in my medical work and interactions with patients.
I chose radiology because I enjoy helping patients in different ways. I look at medical images to help figure out what is wrong, and I do procedures that can help with pain. Often, I help people with back pain feel better by doing pain management procedures.
When I treat spinal compression fractures, it is important to care about the patient’s family too. After the procedure, I make sure the patient and their loved ones can ask questions and feel happy with the care. I have learned that listening and being supportive are key to providing good care, and they are key components of the service I provide regularly.
The best part of my job is meeting patients and working with the hospital staff. Every day brings new challenges and chances to help others.
