Alisa Hurwitz, PsyD, MS

Dr. Alisa Hurwitz (she/her) is a Clinical Psychologist at Dartmouth Health and Clinical Instructor at the Geisel School of Medicine. She graduated from Brandeis University for her undergraduate education and Long Island University with her Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD). Her internship was completed at MercyFirst in New York. Dr. Hurwitz joined Hanover Psychiatry in 2022 and has been the Team Psychologist in Pediatric Endocrinology since 2020. 

In addition to her specialty area, she is a generalist and works with ages 9-65 for challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar mood disorder and neurodivergence. She holds a primary license in New Hampshire and through PsyPACT is also licensed to provide telehealth in 39 additional states (see the list of states here: https://psypact.gov/page/psypactmap). Dr. Hurwitz remains deeply committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based and identity-affirming care to all of her clients.
