About me

After more than 20 years of practicing medicine in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, I’ve learned that successful care looks different for every person. Sometimes it’s finding the right diagnosis or performing a safe, effective procedure. Other times, it’s simply offering clarity, comfort, and reassurance. Often, being truly heard is what matters most.

For me, being a doctor is both a privilege and a blessing. Every day, I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life and help them feel better, live better, and be heard. I chose to specialize in gastroenterology after working with a teacher in medical school who had a remarkable gift for making complex problems clear and manageable. That experience shaped the way I practice today—taking the time to listen, explain, and work alongside each patient.

Illness affects more than just the patient. I do my best to include loved ones in the journey—answering questions, offering support, and making sure everyone feels informed and cared for. My patients often tell me they appreciate the time I take, my respectful and down-to-earth manner, and how I help them feel seen, not just treated. I aim to be the kind of doctor people trust—the kind who listens, explains, and walks beside you through whatever comes next.

I see myself as an old-school country doctor. If that’s what you’re looking for, I think you’ll feel right at home.
