About me
Radiation is a non-invasive treatment that aims to kill cancer without cutting or operations. With radiation, our ability to treat cancers of the prostate, bladder, and kidney is rapidly evolving. Precision techniques allow us to minimize side effects by reducing radiation to surrounding organs.
When I meet with patients, I really listen to them. A consultation with me is a two-way conversation, and there is plenty of time to answer my patients' questions. Radiation can be a scary topic for people who don't deal with it on a day-to-day basis. My job is to demystify the treatment and help patients realize it's something we will get through together.
Before attending medical school, I worked at The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp for three summers. This camp is for children with cancer and serious blood diseases. It was there that I realized that medicine was my calling. Radiation oncology allows me to combine my medical and technological interests with compassionate care to help my patients.
