About me
I am passionate about providing my patients with thorough education about care options. I always strive to ensure that my patients feel comfortable, listened to, and genuinely cared for.
During my nearly decade-long career as an RN, I worked in several critical care specialties. My passion was always caring for patients with cardiovascular and conduction system diseases. When searching for opportunities to grow as an APRN, it felt natural to join a specialty that I was passionate about. It continues to be a challenging, exciting, and rewarding field.
When I meet with patients and their families, I take pride in my patient- and family-centered approach to care. I discuss care options but also listen to my patient's unique concerns, needs, and opinions. Medicine should be a collaborative process between patient and provider.
To me, a successful patient outcome is when I can work with a patient to reduce or alleviate symptoms and improve their overall quality of life.
