About me
My background in epidemiology and research helps me think creatively and tackle tough cases. The film "And the Band Played On" strongly influenced my interest in infectious disease and made me passionate about advocating for underserved and marginalized people and supporting those who have trouble speaking for themselves.
I believe that every human life is equally valuable and precious, and my goal is for every patient to feel listened to, heard, and empowered through their care journey.
The most rewarding part of my work is building strong connections with my patients. I try to help them through tough times, celebrate their successes, or support them in living their best lives.
In infectious disease care, success can mean many things. It can mean preventing an infection, curing it, managing it, or helping someone handle an untreatable infection with dignity.
No matter the outcome, success means making sure my patients feel respected, have choices, and get the best care possible.
In every visit, I work to give kind, evidence-based care that focuses on my patients, treating everyone with dignity and respect.
