About me
I was drawn to ophthalmology because I love helping to protect or restore vision. My goal is to improve the quality of life and functional independence of my patients. By understanding their needs and goals, I can better individualize care.
As someone who is very detail-oriented, I also love the unique intricacies of the eye. In some ways, the eyes really are "windows to the soul" because they often reveal conditions in the body that otherwise may not have manifested.
The field of ophthalmology is exciting because of the growing technological advancements that allow us to provide care and treatments in ways we never could before. It is an absolute privilege to care for patients. I care for them just as I would for my own family or friends. I look forward to building deep, meaningful, and long-lasting connections with my patients in the Dartmouth Health and Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center community.
