About me

Before medical school, I worked in a physical therapy office. This was my first role in helping people recover from ortthopaedic illnesses. It helped me see how orthopaedic surgery can dramatically improve people's quality of life.

I focus on understanding my patients' personal goals and current level of function. By taking a team-based approach to patient care, I help people navigate the wide range of available treatments. For some, this means trying a new medication or therapy. For others, it means gathering more information through advanced imaging or even a referral to one of my colleagues. When surgery is the right option, I help my patients move forward with hip or knee replacement. Whichever path we take, I want my patients to feel that I have guided them through every option and am with them every step of the way.

Ultimately, it's all about results. The best part of my job is hearing patients tell me they have overcome their previous limitations and returned to activities they love.
