About me
The process of healing begins with identifying underlying conditions. For me, this is why radiology is one of the most exciting and interesting fields in medicine. I like to say that radiology is the “new stethoscope.” Instead of only being able to listen to the heart and lungs, radiology tests allow us to see what’s happening in the human body. We can see the heart beating, measure trace amounts of specific biomarkers, and analyze the lungs down to a fraction of an inch. Seeing what’s happening in the human body enables me to quickly, accurately, and safely make diagnoses. In the patient care setting, this kind of responsiveness is critical. We can often use imaging to provide highly effective, minimally invasive treatments. This combination of technology and expertise helps me better evaluate my patients.
I find it very gratifying to serve as part of medical team. Physicians work alongside compassionate technologists, nurses, clerks, administrators, and others. Every day we work with patients and their families to ensure we are providing the world-class care. It’s a group effort and we are proud of the service we provide.
