About me
I find emergency medicine very rewarding because I thrive in its fast-paced environment. It's fulfilling to me to help someone feel better quickly. A successful outcome is being able to decrease someone's pain, fear, or anxiety about their health condition.
My goal is to build trust with my patients. I acknowledge their deep insight into their health experiences. I also extend my care to include family members, recognizing their role as a source of comfort for the patient.
In complex cases, I often ask patients what they think is going on. I recognize that they have lived in their bodies for many years and know them best. This approach involves patients in their care and allows me to provide context, diagnosis, and treatment.
