About me

My dedication to pediatric medicine springs from a love of working with children. Whether in the classroom or now in a clinic, I am lucky to have the opportunity to support their growth and development. I partner with parents and the child as they work to reach their best health and wellbeing.

The first measure of a successful outcome is if the patient can walk away feeling calm about the plan of care. The goal is to ensure that our pediatric clinic is a safe space and we can figure out any concerns together. The second measure of a successful outcome is if the patient or parent feels able and confident in implementing the plan of care. The plan of care is understood, feels meaningful, and doable.

The final measure of success is if the plan of care results in better health and wellbeing for the patient and family. The family surrounds the child. So, how the family unit functions is essential to the wellbeing of the child.

I feel incredibly lucky if I can reduce anxiety for a patient or family, help them overcome a concern, and ultimately thrive.
