About me

The best care happens when we treat our patients like family, with respect and kindness. I work hard to find the right diagnosis and consider a patient's well-being. Together, we create a plan that works for them. I always make sure to talk in a way that's easy to understand so patients feel in control of their own health.

In the field of medicine, we combine our care for others, our ability to solve problems, and our ever-growing knowledge. Over the past 25 years, there have been many important advances in treating neurological conditions. I find it truly fulfilling to use these discoveries to help patients daily.

Illness, especially neurological ones, affects not just the patient but also their family. I've learned that listening before speaking is important. Listening, being open, and helping patients understand their health are all crucial. And sometimes, a good laugh can be the best medicine.

I measure success one patient at a time. When I hear a simple 'thank you' or see a relieved smile, it means the world to me. Even a patient bringing coffee and donuts or asking for care for their loved ones shows I've hit a home run in healthcare.
