About me
Many things can cause shortness of breath. Shortness of breath is a complex and unique experience for each patient. When working with patients, I leave no stone unturned. I consider every detail of a patient's symptoms and concerns to provide tailored care for their needs.
I was drawn to pulmonary medicine because of my desire to know my patients and understand nuanced presentations of pulmonary diseases. Proper treatment of these diseases can have a hugely positive impact on everything my patients do.
My patients and I have the best relationship when we engage in shared decision-making. I have trained and studied pulmonary medicine for years, but my patients know their experiences, values, and goals best. When I can help my patients understand their condition and work together on a treatment plan, we are much more likely to help them have the best quality of life.
