About me
Midwife means “with woman.” It means creating an individualized care plan for each patient to help them feel empowered, safe, and informed. No matter what birth experience they want or have, I help my patients understand that the birth process is normal.
I make sure my patients feel heard and that I take their concerns seriously. I provide education in a way they can understand so that they can be part of the decision-making process.
I like to include my patients’ families and support networks when possible. This might mean showing a family member how to do hands-on labor support or having a support person cut the cord. I want both the patient and their support people to feel valued in becoming a family.
My goal is to help my patients feel empowered by their birth experience. I want them and their support network to feel valued and cared for.
