As a Hospital Medicine provider, I care for people who are inpatients in the hospital. With over 26 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical and Intensive Care Unit nurse, I began with a desire to provide exceptional care to my patients. As a Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, I have expanded my skillset and knowledge to continue to fulfill this mission.

My care centers around my patients. My role, in collaboration with the medical team, is to assess and diagnose acute and chronic illnesses, conduct comprehensive physical examinations, and order necessary tests and medications.

It is my goal to achieve successful outcomes such as:

• Excellent patient satisfaction
• Reduced hospital stays
• Improved admissions/readmissions rates
• Enhanced overall quality and efficiency of patient care

The most rewarding aspect of my career is the time I get to spend with my patients. It is rewarding to make a difference in their health, help their recovery, and even save lives.
