About me
As a pediatrician and psychiatrist caring for my patients requires a holistic view of how physical illness intersects with neuropsychiatric symptoms. As a physician-scientist, my clinical care informs my research and, in turn, my research furthers the care we provide in our clinic.
It is incredibly rewarding to work as a team with other subspecialists in the Neuroimmune Psychiatric Disorders (NIPD) Clinic to provide care for our patients from the start of illness until patients are recovered. My patients and their families are at the center of the team. We are especially privileged to have support which includes clinical and translational research in our clinic. Our research aids our understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of more complex medical and psychiatric diseases.
