About me
I enjoy building relationships with my patients. As a family medicine provider in a small town, I know many of my patients outside of the office. This helps me understand them as individuals.
Patients frequently tell me I’m a good listener. My focus is on helping patients make care decisions based on their personal needs and values. Different patients may choose different medical paths based on their personal needs. I try to understand their needs and values and help guide them in that decision making.
The most rewarding thing about my work is helping people deal with serious illnesses by relating to them on a personal level. If I’m successful, the patient feels they have the information to make the right decision for themselves.
