About me
In maternal-fetal medicine, we care for two patients: the woman and the pregnancy. This involves balancing the risks and benefits to both patients.
I explain complicated pregnancy issues to women and their families and help them make the best decisions for themselves, no matter what that decision is. Making these sorts of decisions is the core of reproductive choice.
For me, maternal-fetal medicine is the best possible field. It's an honor to help a woman and her family navigate through a complicated pregnancy. It's a privilege to be present both for the joy of good outcomes and the grief of loss.
