About me

A cornerstone to how I practice medicine is being open and honest with my patients. Delivering or receiving good medical care can have a different meaning to each of us, but the foundation begins with a two-way street of clear dialogue. I like to think I am real with my patients and hope they in return are real with me. Everything they say is important to me and it is my goal to make sure the information I give back is important to them. The patients I have cared for respect me for that style of communication and it is what has built many long-lasting relationships in my office.

I always knew that caring for people through medicine is what I wanted to do. Along the path it became clear that I wanted to offer the whole breadth of care that patients experience as a family physician. I love taking care of babies, children and the elderly. I wanted to do it all, so there was no other specialty for me. One of the most humbling and fantastic aspects of my career here has been the privilege to care for several 4-generation families. With that breadth in my practice it is safe to say that I learn something new from my patients every day. The most rewarding thing is that I can leave at the end of the day knowing I've made a difference. I am committed to taking care of this community, and it’s been a pleasure.
