Many people with mental health issues feel uncomfortable discussing their concerns. Mental illness tends to have some stigma attached to it. I help my patients understand that managing their mental health concerns is just like managing their physical health concerns.

My approach to care is collaborative. My role is to give patients the information they need to make an informed decision that they feel best suits them. I want my patients to feel that I have listened to their concerns and worked as a team to manage their mental health.
