About me
After becoming a wilderness first responder at the age of sixteen, gaining my EMT, paramedic and firefighter certifications, and working as a flight/trauma medic for ten years, I knew a role as an emergency medicine nurse practitioner would be a perfect fit.
My care is compassionate and comprehensive. Every person is unique. That is why I take time to listen to my patients closely so we can identify their needs together. I keep my patients well-informed. Through clear communication, I ensure they know what is happening and why. Together, we form a plan of action everyone is comfortable with.
In emergency medicine, it is my job to rule out life-threatening ailments, but my responsibilities don’t stop there. I also ensure my patients and their families have the follow-up care needed to manage and treat their symptoms. My patients’ happiness and health are my top priorities.
