About me

I know the repercussions of poor healthcare. I’ve seen and experienced it firsthand. That is why I became a medical professional; to support the other end of the spectrum by providing excellent patient-centered care.

A key component of that is patient education. Thanks to my former career as a professor of nursing, I believe knowledge is power. I encourage questions from my patients as I did with former students.

When patients fully understand their endocrine problems and what they can do to minimize or eliminate them, I’ve succeeded. On top of that, it’s important to me that they feel empowered, respected and understood. I want patients to receive holistic care in a safe environment where they are being heard.

I love to watch my patients achieve physical and mental health goals identified by and centered around them. They are the drivers in their healthcare experiences. I’m here to offer collaboration and encouragement every step of the way.
