Numair Tahir, DO

Growing up, I was awestruck by the impact my father’s physician practice had on our rural community. His care transformed the lives of his patients. That inspired me to follow in his footsteps and become a doctor.

Now, as a hospitalist, I coordinate and provide care during a patient’s hospitalization. In my role, I develop strong relationships with patients while collaborating with nurses, therapists, pharmacists and staff. Together, we provide optimal care. Many know and appreciate me for my thoroughness, calmness and sense of humor. Those close relationships give me plenty of opportunities to share bad puns and dad jokes. I’m always ready to make people chuckle.

My ultimate goal is to help patients improve their quality of life while putting smiles on their faces. Laughing together can sometimes be the best medicine.
