We are all human. I have been on both sides of the bedside, so I do my best to see things from my patients’ and their loved ones’ perspectives. I strive for compassionate, wrap-around care as I help people through their surgeries and onto the path to wellness.

Acute illnesses and injuries that require surgery can change the trajectory of a patient’s life. I try to support them through this vulnerable time with education and encouragement. Helping others has long been part of who I am. Seeing my patients return to the activities they love after surgery is gratifying. Sometimes life looks different post-surgery, but knowing my patients can still gain joy from their hobbies makes my hard work worthwhile.
