About me
I am a native of Florida and spent over a decade working in social services before transitioning into emergency medical services as an emergency medical technician and paramedic. After ten years in that field, I moved into nursing and gained specialized training as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As a nurse practitioner, I have worked in urgent care, primary care, and nephrology. In 2021, I relocated to New Hampshire to work in kidney transplant at Dartmouth Health.
My passion for nephrology and renal transplant care is deeply rooted in personal experiences; I have been a caregiver, a living donor, a dialysis patient, and a transplant recipient. These experiences give me a unique perspective and a strong commitment to supporting patients at every stage of kidney disease and transplant. I prioritize clear and compassionate communication, believing that success encompasses not only clinical outcomes but also an improved quality of life.
