I’m passionate about providing the best possible care to everyone who comes to the emergency room. With a background in emergency medical services (EMS) and serving on FEMA Disaster Response Teams, I know that an emergency can strike anyone, anywhere.

The emergency department provides care regardless of a patient’s background or financial status. Everyone gets the same care in the emergency room, from the homeless to the hospital’s CEO. I respect my patients and let them know I care about them as individuals. To be accessible to more patients, I worked hard to become conversational in Spanish.

As the Medical Director and Chief of Emergency Medicine at New London Hospital, I strive to earn my patients’ trust. I know I’ve been successful when patients ask to see me again the next time they need care.
