About me

The heart has always intrigued me. I still remember peering through a microscope in middle school to see a single cardiac cell beat on its own. There’s so much going on structurally, vascularly and electrically. The heart is fascinating! I became a physician assistant because it merged that love of health science with my genuine interest in helping people. I want others to feel their best.

I achieve that goal through a team-based approach. To keep my patients informed and engaged, I thoroughly explain information and options. As they begin to take the lead on decision-making, it’s important that they understand their cardiac health and how lifestyle modifications can prevent or resolve problems. We create an understandable, attainable care plan together.

My work is satisfying on many levels. Yet when patients who previously felt unwell improve due to our efforts, I’m rewarded more than ever.
