The best parts of my job are helping people feel better and educating them so they can better help themselves. It’s important that I understand the health concerns from their perspective and vice-versa. It’s a collaborative process.

When patients know what is going on, the problem, and how particular treatments might help and why, they become true partners in their own healthcare. With understanding comes a sense of control. I value that because my patients and I are a team and they deserve ownership over the decision-making process. Together, we can help them feel better in their day-to-day life.
