About me
As a pathologist, my goal is to provide the most accurate and up-to-date diagnoses. I work with the clinical team to help them choose the best treatment options for their patients.
Pathology acts as a bridge between clinical medicine and basic science. The work is intellectually challenging and satisfying. Scientific breakthroughs in pathology can lead directly to treatment options for patients.
On the research side, I am particularly interested in the genetic contributions to neurodegenerative diseases like amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
