About me
I chose to practice pediatric anesthesia because I want to give children the best chance of having a wonderful, healthy life. Whether it’s for large operations or sedation for an imaging procedure, I find it incredibly rewarding to be part of a team caring for children.
Explaining the process of anesthesia to our patients and their family is an essential part of alleviating the stress often felt on the day of surgery. We accomplish this by answering any questions a family might have and explaining the anesthesia process to our patient.
Overall, it’s important to be sensitive to the stress our patients and their families feel on the day of surgery, and I do all I can to reduce or eliminate that stress.
