About me

As a student athlete, I was always interested in human performance, physiology, anatomy, and the wonder of the human body. I became a doctor to better understand this temple we are all gifted at birth.

My role is to educate, encourage, and show my patients how to be the healthiest people they can be. I help them see how to improve their health through diet, regular exercise, and other healthy life choices. I recommend medications only as a last resort.

I try to combine listening, humor, and non-judgmental expertise into an enjoyable encounter with my patients. My patients tell me they appreciate being listened to and that they value a thorough physical exam.

I really enjoy developing long-term relationships with so many different kinds of people. My absolute favorite days are when a patient comes for a visit and tells me they couldn't wait to come in and show me how well they are doing. When a patient is excited about the health improvements they have achieved, it makes me glad to be part of that success.
